I’m a writer and artist in Orange County, North Carolina. I grew up in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, received my B.A. in English and Drama from the University of Virginia, and my M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
My research has appeared in American Literature, Comics and American Cultural History, and With Great Power Comes Great Pedagogy.
